With the markets taking a nosedive along with the economy Merrill Lynch CEO John Thain may have to consider parting with their investments in Bloomberg and Blackrock in order to survive.

After eliminating 83,000 jobs since July 2007, Wall Street is still only in the early stages of downsizing. 

With layoffs mounting on wall street and financial institutions on shaky ground, what’s a financial media empire seeking growth to do?  Create the position of chief content officer and bring in an outsider to shake things up. 

Anybody who watches any of the financial news channels, CNBC, FBN or Bloomberg may have noticed the many female anchors and on-air reporters who are, to put it simply - quite pleasing to the eyes.  The term “money-honey” has long been associated with Maria Bartiromo on CNBC.  Others have given her a run for her money (yes, go ahead and groan) for the title without success.  But there may be a contender to the title, Bianna Golodryga.
